Most inspectors charge $200+ for thermal imaging and $150+ for drone roof surveys. We include both — at no extra cost — on every single inspection we do.
Thermal imaging and drone surveys aren't gimmicks. They're modern inspection tools that find things conventional inspection methods miss — and they're a core part of how Residential Network operates. We don't sell them as add-ons because we believe they should be standard.
Thermal imaging uses infrared cameras to detect temperature differences invisible to the human eye. Behind a wall that looks normal, thermal can reveal active water leaks, missing or settled insulation, electrical hot spots that signal failing breakers or aluminum wiring, and air leakage around windows and doors. We use professional FLIR equipment on every inspection, indoors and out.
Drone surveys capture detailed aerial photography of roofs, chimneys, gutters, and elevated areas. This is safer than ladder access (no risk of falls), more thorough (full coverage of every roof slope, including areas inaccessible by ladder), and produces visual documentation you can review yourself. Especially valuable for steep roofs, two-story homes, and metal roofs that can't safely be walked.
